The seating plan for the upcoming Grammys has been thrown into disarray after explosive allegations were made against rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. Normally, organizers only have to worry about managing the egos of the stars in the room. However, in light of recent rape and sexual abuse accusations against the hip-hop star, several celebrity agents have requested that their clients be seated far away from him.

Just this week, Combs reached a settlement in a lawsuit with his ex-girlfriend, Cassie, who accused him of abusing her for over a decade. And to make matters worse, two more women filed civil cases against him on Friday, alleging rape and sexual assault.

As a result, numerous officials within the Academy are advocating for the removal of the billionaire superstar from the Grammy guest list. A music insider disclosed, “The official invitations will be sent out this month, but there is a conflict within the academy. Some voting members believe it would be inappropriate to invite Diddy. There are concerns that including him would send the wrong message to audiences and the charities the event supports. Publicists have even requested that their artists not be seated near him. It’s turning into a logistical nightmare.”

Last week, Cassie, who was signed to Combs’ label, Bad Boy Records, made shocking allegations of sex trafficking, human trafficking, sexual battery, sexual assault, and gender-motivated violence, among other charges. She also accused Combs of forcing her to engage in sexual acts with male prostitutes for his own filming purposes.

Combs’ attorney has released a statement asserting that the settlement “does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims.” A representative for the rapper has also vehemently denied the latest accusations.

The Grammys, one of the most prestigious music awards ceremonies, are now grappling with the fallout of these disturbing allegations against one of the industry’s biggest names. It remains to be seen how the academy will address the situation and manage the seating arrangements amidst the controversy.
