Shelby’s grandmother was hospitalized in a critical condition due to lung issues. Although conscious, she was uncomfortable and her health was fragile. However, the one thing that gave her strength to fight her illness was the longing for her beloved dog, Patsy.

The hospital where she was admitted had a strict no-pets policy, leaving her deeply disappointed and sad about not being able to see her pet.

Determined to lift her spirits, Shelby devised a clever and heartfelt plan.

Shelby took Patsy from her grandmother’s home and wrapped him snugly in a blanket. The car ride to the hospital helped Patsy calm down, although he was initially very restless. With Shelby being a veterinarian, she knew just how to soothe him.
