While the exact cause of Jill’s passing has not been disclosed, Dan Harary confirmed that she fought bravely against a long-standing illness. In September 2024, Jill publicly shared her struggle with esophageal cancer, describing the journey as both intense and challenging. She lived with the condition for over two and a half years.

“The experience was incredibly tough. It just paralyzed you, rendering you unable to function,” Jill candidly recalled during an appearance on “The Jim Masters Show” on YouTube.

Despite initially struggling with her diagnosis, Jill managed to turn her devastating health challenges into a driving force for positivity.

“It remained a closely guarded secret that sidelined me for quite some time,” she confessed. “I had esophageal cancer, necessitating about two, two and a half years of rigorous treatment.”

Amidst her personal battle with cancer, Jill became a dedicated advocate, volunteering and serving as a spokesperson for the American Cancer Society. Her remarkable efforts in advocating for cancer awareness earned her various accolades, as reported by The Independent.

Sadly, Jill Jacobson’s remarkable journey concluded at the age of 70. Her manager, Ben Padua, shared the sorrowful news with Entertainment Weekly.
